Before you book, check if there are items you can recycle at home. We reserve the right to cancel any multiple bookings made in a 7 day period.

What materials do the sites accept?

You simply reserve a 30-minute timeslot for security in the days before your arrival. Should you wish to use the site for household waste and you live in another borough you will be charged £3 each time you visit. If you want to cancel or amend your booking, visit the link in your booking confirmation email or text message. Now that the booking system is established, our recycling centre policy will be enforced.
If you’re visiting the recycling centres by bike, or on foot at Hartcliffe Way recycling centre only, you do not need to book. The balance swings in the other direction at the weekend, when renewable energy floods the wires (sometimes going to waste if it’s not used up). Schedule your Happy Hours – bookings open towards the end of the week, so head to your dashboard and pick a time slot that suits you. Sometimes during weekends and school holidays we can get busy and you may have to queue to enter. At times you may have to wait for a few minutes but the booking system is designed to minimise this.

These items can be accepted at Five Lanes or Llanfoist recycling centres. DIY waste is restricted to five bags or a small car boot load per visit with a maximum of two visits per month.DIY waste refers only to materials arising from small scale works in a householder’s own property.
